Within a site configuration in RockSolid you can list certain logins within the Privileged Users tab. The intent of listing logins here is to provide site wide auditing, to the statement level, of every command initiated by these logins against any SQL Server monitored by RockSolid. This is useful for monitoring the behavior of administration staff and providing and audit record of activities if an undesirable situation occurs in future.
As the monitoring overhead of logging at this level can be high, this is not recommended for auditing logins used by users executing application processes. Instead this should only be reserved for logins used by ad-hoc administration staff. Auditing of application processes to the statement level many have considerable performance impact to those applications.
