Detailed History for Automated Database Maintenance Commands

The history of all database maintenance tasks is kept and retained within the central RockSolid repository for auditing purposes. In general this information includes:

  • Execution history for each object (database, table, index, statistic)
  • Duration of each maintenance action
  • Success/failure of each maintenance action
  • Errors resulting from each maintenance action
  • Relevant metadata from each maintenance action (such as index fragmentation)
  • Exit point in task to call something else
  • Respect maintenance window
  • Automatically manage base on pass running time

This information is centralised into the RockSolid application repository and can be access via relevant RockSolid UI and RockSolid report interfaces.
