GRAPH: Instance Connections

This graph shows the number of SQL Server connections established during the monitoring period.  This may be useful for determining if usage of the SQL Server has changed over time or if the usage was higher/lower than expected during an incident.

Lower connections than baseline during an incident may indicate an upstream issue, such as a network or application issue preventing an application connecting to the SQL Server host.  Higher connections than baseline during an incident may indicate a resource contention issue on the SQL Server.
