GRAPH: Disk Total Queue Length

This graph shows the aggregate disk queue lengths (blue) for all disks within an OSE host, as reported by Windows, for the selected date range.

This graph is useful for identifying periods where I/O bottlenecks may be responsible for poor system performance.  Key indicators of a performance issue may be a significantly higher level of disk queues at certain periods (outside of baseline) for intermittent performance issues, or sustained disk queues over 10-20 queued requests, or at top end of baseline, for ongoing performance issues .

If you suspect I/O bottlenecks may be the cause of poor performance, you should drill into more detailed data by examining disk queues per disk.
