New Features

• The Service Request number is shown in the service request search results table, and the list of dependant service requests

• Standardised functionality when “Please Select” is chosen in a drop down menu

• RockSolid Components shows the version number and host name for each RockSolid component

• Service Tree Map – a visual overview, by task, of open service requests colour-coded to indicate the severity level

• Instance Settings Current Policy provides an overview of instance settings and the hierarchy level settings have been applied at

• Database Buckets Auto Overlay – assigns a database bucket to a database without changing the actual bucket a database is assigned to

• Service Request Task Details – shows specific information about the task associated with a service request. Task Details are currently available for 12 task types.

• Backup Striping Across Disks – A SQL Server database backup can now be striped across multiple disks by specifying multiple disk paths in the configuration.

• Replication monitoring.  Replication is detected and monitor occurs automatically.  Delays in replication raise SRs.

• Custom job deployment.  User defined SQL Agent jobs can be defined as part of policy and deployed automatically as part of automated job deployment.

Improvement

• The last or cached search is no longer performed automatically when  a search page loads ie Manage Instances, Manage Databases and Manage Database Maintenance

• Search results tables now display a maximum of 50 results per screen with pagination

• Validation rules have been enhanced around instance and database settings

• Service Request email instance links fixed
